Last day of classes! Woot!!!!!!!

I turned in my last research paper for the semester (Hopefully for the rest of the school year), and received my last two assignments for the weekend. A take-home test/programming project, and a two page paper on arguments of fallacy. I only have two tests, one for Artificial Intelligence, which is just discussing Neural Networks and Expert Systems, so that shouldn't be a problem. The American Lit. test will be extremely annoying, just because it's a bluebook test, but it is open book. As long as I can remember to include quotes from the readings I should be fine; cause nothing says you've learned the reading than quoting random stories.

On a side note, I have a new blog-type thing. I got bored and joined tumblr. So you can see it HERE. It will be also where I will be keeping track of my progress on the great Pokemon-Minecraft-Project. I'm currently on day 6.

Monday the 21st

So I'm home from Spring break. I've been spending a lot of time working on my website and comics. It's all working now and (I think) looking pretty good.

My plans for break:

• Update my music collection
• Update my website/comics
• Work on my Java Games
• Learn to play Portal: Still Alive on the piano (At least fairly well)
• Of course work on my papers
• Bake:
• Blueberry Muffins
• Chocolate Chip Cookies
• Rice Krispy Treats
• Take extra snacks back to BV to snack on :]

So I got a website up for my comics. Nothing too nice just yet, I have the basics down and it's working. I'll slowly work on making it look nice in my free time, but otherwise I'll just be working on keeping comics added.

Oh my goodness

So, I haven't posted in a long time. But a lot has happened. Not all of it I want to post, since I would much rather it all just stay in the past. So..

I'm coming up on my first couple tests, writing my first couple papers, hopefully I can keep up enough to watch some Lord of the Rings this weekend. I haven't seen it in forever, so I really want to watch it again.

I started transposing my comics onto my computer tonight, I've been taking over the white-boards on my floor to draw them, but I've kind of gotten tired of them disappearing forever whenever I draw new ones.

I realized once I started making them on my computer, that I should have a name for my comics, so I decided on Paradox Alternative, or Alternative Paradox. Depending on how you read it :P

The title makes no sense if you think about it, but then again, neither do my comics.

Oh what fun times we live in.

So I ended up getting a new Xbox with Kinect, and needless to say, it's a lot of fun. I can't say I was expecting too much, I figured it would be kind of cheesy, and meant to be like a ripoff of the Wii. But it is much more than I expected.

The voice and motion control is awesome. I can be lazier than ever now :P

I was expecting some lag in the game, but there really isn't any noticeable lag that I can tell, at least not when playing it. The games are fun, and accurate. I especially enjoy dance central, which seems to be like guitar hero, except with dancing. The thing I enjoy most, is how it takes random pictures during the games, and shows them to you after you play the funny poses and faces it caught you in. Dance Central also has parts when you can freestyle dance, and it takes pictures while you dance, and puts them together in a stop motion video.

Woot!

So, things are getting better. I'm still feeling a bit stressed out, but not in such a bad way. Wait, okay well it's still not good stress, but I can deal with it now I think.

In other news, I have a ghostbusters outfit! :D

It even has the backpack! It's an inflatable backpack, but it's still pretty cool looking. I think  I will have to go on a run today with Nick, of course he will have to be dressed up as a ghost.. haha :P

I've been in the mood to do something really crazy lately, I've been trying to think what I could do, and so far it seems like my options are:

1. ✔ Put on my ghostbusters outfit, have Nick dress up as a ghost, and run around campus. [Sounds like a good idea] <- Did that and it was awesome! :D
2. ✔Get a fake spiderweb, and a giant fake spider, and set up a spiderweb in the arch with the spider in the middle of the web. [Will have to do late at night, I don't know campus security's feelings on something like this] <- First night after break was too windy, but got it up for Friday :D
3. Set up a bunch of fake tombstones on the forum lawn to turn it into a graveyard. [Too expensive]
4. TP the arch [I think campus security would be against that more than the spider, and I don't know if I can throw that high up. Okay I know I can't]
5. Get glow in the dark paint and paint tennis balls to play glow in the dark lawn golf.
6. Get glow in the dark paint and paint anything.
7. Hang a skeleton under the arch [Could be seen as something racist possibly, so keep with the spider]
8. Set up a crime scene somewhere. With caution tape and a chalk outline [maybe a pool of fake blood too, that would be cool] <- forgot that stuff :(
9. Take a nap <- Haven't had time yet :\

idk, I need a stress reliever anyways, and I haven't really had any good pranks/jokes to play on the floor recently. Sooo who knows. :P

Time leads to thinking.. and thought confuses the mind.

So I don't know what it is about this week in particular, but I've been thinking way too much. It's kind of depressing actually. I don't really start off think about anything in particular, my mind just sort of wanders and takes me places I don't want to go.

I've thought about everything there is to think about already, and it's only Wednesday.

I've thought about what I'm going to do with my life, my job, where I've been, where I'm at, and where I'm going.

Last Friday I went the career symposium, where a group of BV alumni came to share what they're doing right now in the field of computer science. It was interesting, and made me think more about what I plan on doing later.

Not safe day

I've pretty much spent this whole weekend reading; and I'm not even close to being done yet. I took a break last night to go to casino night, but then it was pretty much back to work.

On the plus side I was told by my Written Communication professor that she thinks I'm a sophisticated writer. So that's pretty cool I guess. But, I gotta get back to getting shit done.

I'm moving back into Grand on Tuesday. Not that I'm not looking forward to moving into a bigger room. But I really don't want to go through the whole moving process. Especially since it's across the street and up 3 floors. I'll most likely borrow the cart from 2Fix to move everything faster.

The University is getting rid of some old mattresses and getting new ones. The business office is offering it as a fundraiser to clubs, so I'm going to help out with that to see if I can't earn some money for the OAC.

School starts in a few weeks. I've been saving as much money as possible, but I'm pretty sure all of it will disappear once I buy books :6

I was wondering why the lights in the Forum were flickering, then I finally got the idea to look outside to see if it was raining outside, and it totally is. lol shows what I notice when I'm zoning out at work :P

I was going to go water the sod at "Beaver Beach" after work too.. Oh well. Guess that job got easier :D I guess there are some trees falling over and broken branches and stuff though..

Oh well, I'm kind've stuck at 2Fix right now.. Have a good night everyone.
